Weekly Rally Update
Rally this Saturday, caroling Sunday, Monarca training in January
A note from Judith:
This Saturday, we will once again gather at our usual spot (details below) to stand together to rally in support of our democracy. Coffee and hot cocoa will be available to help keep us warm, and our dedicated volunteers will be present to offer guidance, support, and de-escalation if needed.
These are frightening times.
ICE is now active in our state and has been reported in Carver County several times. As a result, many of our friends and neighbors are scared, and some are staying home out of fear of being detained.
While our rallies have always been about defending democratic values, standing together visibly and peacefully matters even more right now.
With Christmas just days away, we hope that our presence—standing side by side with our signs—can spread a sense of hope and solidarity to those who see us, and remind us as well that we are not alone.
So join us this Saturday at 1 pm to make this holiday season feel just a little bit brighter for them…and for us.
