Thank you to the 254 of you who showed up on Saturday to keep the momentum going strong!

Ray, one of our wonderful volunteers who helps with security on Saturdays, has written an eloquent call to action to transform protest into purpose:

waiting for national parties to fix themselves isn’t a strategy.
The truth is, we can’t outsource democracy to Washington.

The next phase of resistance will be built at the neighborhood level — on our blocks, in our schools, and in our own acts of care: PTA meetings, neighborhood associations, block clubs, tenant unions, and faith groups.

That’s where civic renewal begins.

That’s what authoritarianism fears most — neighbors who still know how to organize, feed each other, and protect one another.
