Thought Police?
The 15 people arrested this week in Minneapolis did not commit any crimes ... yet. That is the view the Trump administration is taking. But that these people were against them was enough, and federal charges have been brought against them.
The United States has free speech as one of, if not the, main pillars of its society. If this is taken away, what is left? What they are doing is trying to scare all of us, making us believe that even writing something or posting something on Facebook will be used against us as a crime.
He is trying to scare us all because what we are doing is working. We are fighting back. ICE is on a hiring spree, trying to hire more than 10,000 agents.
They know that if we win, their days are numbered and their whole house of cards will come crumbling down. The corruption, the Epstein Files, all of it will then be laid bare. So they are running scared, and we all know desperate people will do desperate things.
Stay strong. Do not give in and do not give up. Stand up and be counted, vote and help others vote, and speak up.
Locally, a lot of things are happening. Congressman Emmer went on several TV shows talking about how they are fighting antifa. The man has not held a town hall in years and then has the gall to say that protesters are bad people. Let’s vote him out, as he does not represent us at all.
Doug Chapin is running against him and has been at many of our events. We also have a very large data center that is now proposed to be built right here in Chaska. This data center would be 1.5 million square feet, and we need to stop it. Please get involved in stopping it.
Lastly, many of you know Mary Fuentes of Latino Voices. Mary worked tirelessly during Operation Metro Surge, helping everyone she could, and now she needs our help. Mary has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, and she is in the hospital. A GoFundMe has been set up to help her and her family as they try to navigate this.
