A note from Judith:
Friends, Patriots, Fellow Southwest Metro Residents
This Saturday, we are not just attending a protest, we are making history.
The national demonstration this weekend is poised to be the largest in US history, and our small, powerful town of Chaska and the Southwestern suburbs is going to be a crucial part of it.
We rally to fight for our country, to safeguard our democracy, and to uphold the US Constitution. We are showing the world that even in the quietest corners of America, the flame of liberty burns bright.
This is more than a protest; it is a declaration. Let’s come together to remind ourselves and everyone else that these are not normal times, and we are taking a definitive stand.
Greet each other, connect with each other, and continue to build this powerful community of people who care about what is happening.
I can’t wait to see you all; ready to make noise, wave those flags and signs, and know you are a vital part of this historic movement.
Essential Information for a Powerful Protest
Where & When
Unlike our weekly gatherings, for No Kings Day on Saturday, we will be holding the rally from 12:30-2 pm at the corner of Hazeltine Boulevard and Highway 41 (North Chestnut St.) [MAP].
To ensure our day is safe, successful, and impactful, please take note of the following important details:
Safety and Conduct
Our protest must be peaceful; our message is powerful enough on its own.
De-escalation: Look for our Yellow Vests. They are here for your security and trained to handle any issues. If you see a problem, please grab a Yellow Vest, and they will help de-escalate the situation.
Do Not Engage: Please do not engage with anyone against our cause. Engaging may have unintended and negative consequences for the entire protest. Let the Yellow Vests manage any friction.
Public Space: We must remain on public paths. Please be courteous to bikers and walkers to ensure the paths remain accessible for all.
Respect Private Property: Representative Emmers’ office is on PRIVATE property. Absolutely do not go there. Doing so may result in arrests and cause issues that undermine the rest of our protest.
We’ve met with the Chief of Police, and they will have two officers and a car present, which is a good thing for maintaining public order.
Onsite Support and Team
We have an amazing team ready to support you:
Blue Vests (Support & Donations): Our Blue Vests are there to greet you, offer assistance, and answer questions. If you wish to make a donation to help us buy water, vests, walkie-talkies, and supplies for future protests, please give it to a Blue Vest, who will pass it on to Kim.
Red Vests (Medical): If you are feeling dizzy, faint, or need any medical attention, please notify someone wearing a Red Vest immediately. Your health is our priority.
Yellow Vests (Marshals): They are there to help keep you safe. Please follow any instructions they give you. They are there to help things go smoothly and safely.
Information: Please listen to anyone wearing one of our colored vests for up-to-the-minute information and directions.
Chants and Media
Chants: The incredible Max will be leading us! Get ready for two powerful chants:
Max: “Show me what democracy looks like!”
Crowd: “This is what democracy looks like!”
Max: “He is trying to rule with an iron fist...”
Crowd: “...’cuz we all know he is on the list!” (Referring to the Epstein files.)
Listen for Max on the bullhorn, he may have more chants for us!
Media Team: We will have a drone taking pictures and video run by local artist Lucas Norbert, and the amazing Paul Marlow will be taking photos. If you take pictures, please use the hashtag #ChaskaProtest and post them!
Weather Update: The forecast for Saturday is perfect for protesting—dry and in the low sixties!
Let’s have fun, let’s make noise, and let’s remind this country and ourselves of the power we hold when we stand united.

Thank you for all you are doing. Can you please send a SW Crier email with logistics - where we will stand, where to park, time, etc. I was going to share with friends who have not attended before and they will need this information. Thank you.
Thank you for all this important information. I am grateful for those that have organized the Chaska protest. See you Saturday!
