Good Morning, friends.
It looks like we are having the election we’ve all been hoping for.
Minnesota has surpassed its previous record for early voting in a midterm election.
According to figures released Friday, October 30, by the Secretary of State’s Office, nearly 729,000 Minnesotans had already cast ballots in person or by mail.
That compares with approximately 282,000 ballots cast at the same point before the 2022 midterms.
If You Haven’t Yet Voted (Or Know Someone Who Hasn’t): VOTE!
Don’t let the rain and the positive polling numbers and the punditry lull you into thinking we’ve got this and your vote won’t make a difference. IT WILL.
The margins matter. We need to demonstrate to the Republican Party that the road Trump and MAGA have been traveling leads to a political dead end. We need to run up the score to make it impossible for Trump and Republicans to sow chaos after the results have been tallied.
So if you haven’t yet voted, please crawl through broken glass to do so. And if you know someone who hasn’t voted, drag their sorry ass to their polling location.
A Blue Wave Or A Blue Tsunami?
It does appear that we have every reason to be optimistic but we’ll wait till the results are in before we start patting ourselves on the back.
There are a lot of reasons it appears Trump and MAGA are in for a rebuke: The war against Iran driving up the cost of gas and diesel, the tariffs, the rampant and in-your-face corruption, and the cruelty.
This chart published by the Hopium Chronicles illustrates that last point; it shows the surge in vote count among Hispanics from 2022 to 2026. This is what Operation Metro Surge bought Republicans.
