Neighbors Show Up: Minnesota Organizes, Adapts & Pushes Back
From trainings to protests, our community is standing together—and the momentum is growing.
A Note From Judith:
Community Update & Call to Action
So much is happening. We have had to mobilize around our neighbors, and as ICE has changed tactics, so have we. We are learning more every day about how to resist, stand up, and fight back.
Minnesota is getting noticed around the world—and even Bruce Springsteen has written a song about us!
Get Trained & Take Action
I urge everyone to get involved.
Attend a virtual training:

This Saturday’s Pro-Democracy Rally
This Saturday, the weather will be a bit warmer. We’ll have treats, hot cocoa, coffee, and our amazing volunteers to support you.
Your presence matters.
Showing up is making a real difference in our community.
The people of Minnesota are at the forefront of the fight against actual occupation—and we are not backing down.
Bring a friend. Maybe someone who has never protested before, or someone who feels sad or overwhelmed by what’s happening. Bring them.
🕦 Chaska Protest: 1:00–2:00 (Details below)
Same time, same place.
🕦 Waconia Protest: 11:30–12:30 (Details below)
You can protest twice and support our friends there as well!
Important Safety Note
A well-known right-wing instigator and his associates are back in Minnesota. He will attempt to provoke reactions to generate footage for his channel.
If an instigator shows up:
Ignore them.
Do not engage. They thrive on outrage and attention.
Notify one of our security volunteers.
If needed, we will contact the police.
Protest Signs
Need more signs?
Little Roos (122 Pioneer Trail, Chaska) will have new signs available Saturday morning for $15.
They open at 10:00 a.m., so you can stop by before the protest. The signs are amazing!

Thanks again, Judith! FYI, I sent a thank you text to the Chaska Chief of Police, sharing our collective gratitude to the Chaska Police for helping us feel safe. He sent a delightful response back, and was so glad to hear that their presence was helpful to our group. If you’d like, I can share his name and contact info if others want to give messages of thanks.
I can help on NO KINGS DAY, Judith…Greeter? As always, I appreciate your writings. I always feel hopeful after reading. It’s also how I feel before, during and after our protests on Saturdays. Take care💞
