Federal agents arrested 12 Minnesotans this week for attending meetings, wearing certain clothes, and posting opinions on Facebook. The U.S. Attorney called them terrorists. A George W. Bush ethics lawyer called the charges 'completely disproportionate.' On Juneteenth, the Southwest Crier looks at what these arrests actually reveal: a movement that knows it's losing, using fear as its last real weapon. The resistance has been working. This is no time to stop.
Why isn't someone putting your rebuttal as to who the people they arrested really are in a letter to the editor or demanding that this news...these facts .... be reported to the people who need to know it? You're preaching to the choir here!
I'm really so tired of the Democrats... including our representatives NOT meeting the moment with the truth and not backing down immediately with loud voices at the same time these outrageous acts are committed. I love that we protest and I'm right there with you. BUT the response has to be prompt, swift loud and clear.
