What a terrific way to start my day - to read that not only the Chaska protest, that I’ve attended since March, continues to grow but that new protests are springing up, even in deep red places like Waconia and Norwood Young America. We are standing up, speaking out and making a difference!
Thank you for these updates! It really helps me stay connected when we have conflicts and cannot participate in the protests in a given week. I have an idea I'd like to share. Since we know that generating AI images takes a lot of natural resources (especially water!), I wonder if people could submit photos of their signs or artwork to serve as the images in these posts? I know my artist daughter would love a chance to contribute. Let me know if there's an email address we could submit to!
When passers by holler “why don’t you get a job”; I respond; “this is my job”.
Most important job I’ve ever had… and I love it. It is particularly gratifying when people tell you; “ thanks for protesting”.
