A New Chapter

A personal note of gratitude and a transition for our movement in Chaska.

Hi everyone,

As summer winds down and the weather turns beautiful this weekend, I'm feeling so grateful for all we've done together. These past five months have been a complete turnaround for me.

I went from feeling depressed and helpless to being completely uplifted by all of you. You gave me the courage to stand up and be heard. Being around people who share the same beliefs and energy to create change has been a true lifesaver.

Thank You for All You Do

This movement has been a success because of so many of you. I want to give a special shoutout to some of the incredible people who have kept us going:

• Judith, our first aid lead, for keeping us healthy.

• The Yellow Vests—John, Corey, Scott, and Al—for keeping us safe.

• The Blue Vests—Dave, Kim, and Max—for keeping our spirits high and making sure we stay hydrated.

• David, for the wonderful music, videos, and his work on the SW Crier.

• Jay, Sally, Chrissy, Sarah, and Jen, who are the heart of our protests.

• And to everyone who has chipped in financially to help us with the little things that make these protests run smoothly.

My Next Step

This Saturday will be my last as the host of the Chaska protests. I have started a new project that will take our fight to the next level: teaching others how to engage with swing voters and liberals who have either given up or not yet joined the cause.

This new venture is a chance for me to use my 25 years of professional communication skills for a project I truly believe in.

I’m incredibly excited about this new opportunity, but I’m also sad that I won't get to see all your wonderful faces every Saturday.

Our amazing group of volunteers will be taking over the protests. They have already been doing an awesome job, and that's all thanks to you. Please support them however you can, and if you want to get more involved, just grab one of the "Vests" and let them know.

We can always use more helping hands!

Let's make this weekend, and our big national push on Labor Day Saturday, a huge success.
